As a consultant, Lena Derntl combines clinical experience with a strong commitment to lean healthcare. She uses her expertise to sustainably optimize patient-centered care and working conditions in the healthcare sector. Her particular concern is to maximize direct patient work in order to enable personal care and a focus on the essentials.

During her studies and numerous clinical internships in the DACH-region, Lena Derntl gained insights into the specifics of the healthcare systems. These experiences strengthened both her flexibility in dealing with the variable processes in the healthcare sector and her analytical skills. At the same time, her bachelor’s degree in business administration with a focus on organizational studies provided her with economic knowledge and fostered her structured and goal-oriented way of working. In the course of her clinical work in various specialties, she continuously developed her communication skills in challenging situations and focused on promoting interdisciplinary, solution-oriented cooperation.

In her free time, she enjoys immersing herself in nature and exploring the mountains of Switzerland, sometimes on a motorcycle tour. She runs regularly to work on her best time for the next half marathon and tries her hand at tennis. Spending time with her family and cooking together make for a relaxing end to the day.
