For Karin Ritschard Ugi, patients and employees are the first priority. They represent the basic framework of all healthcare institutions. In order to achieve optimal patient processes and a high quality of treatment in the future, as well as justice to demographic developments, there is a demand for needs-oriented and data-based skill-grade mix methods. Furthermore, an interdisciplinary development of new roles and task profiles is required. The accentuating shortage of specialists poses major challenges for healthcare institutions – in order to be able to meet the demand for healthcare professionals in the future, good framework conditions for working in the healthcare sector are central. This requires among other things managers with pronounced leadership qualities and employee orientation.

Karin Ritschard Ugi has years of experience in both professional leadership and management. In all development work and projects, she focuses on interdisciplinary and evidence-based practice development. In doing so, she promotes the resources of the (expert) organizations and the employees and works in a focused, solution- and cost-oriented manner.

In her free time, Karin Ritschard Ugi can be found hiking or skiing in the mountains, sailing on the water or doing yoga on land. She is married and mother of two boys.
