Innovation in Elderly Care – What can we learn?

3. November 2020 / 13:3017:00

Swedish think tank Forum for Health Policy in cooperation with the embassies of the Netherlands and Switzerland organize an exciting webinar.

Welcome to an important international webinar on management, technological development, user influence, and more in Elderly Care in Sweden, the Netherlands and Switzerland.

The corona pandemic has brought great challenges and difficult consequences, and not least a huge strain on elderly care throughout Europe. Demographic trends are already placing great demands on well-functioning care for the elderly throughout Europe. Elderly care is facing major challenges, not least in terms of financing, queues for special housing, slow development in the introduction of new processes, new technology and user influence.

walkerproject is proudly curating the Swiss perspective, represented by Prof. Dr. Andrew Paice, head of iHomeLab. The iHomeLab of the Lucerne University of Applied Sciences and Arts is the Swiss think tank and research lab for building intelligence. He will show how user-centric technology can facilitate a more active and participatory life for the elderly.
